Purpose
This Cleaning Service policy outlines the terms and conditions of the cleaning company’s services, safety procedures and schedule arrangements. The policy communicates how the business operates, keeps clients informed and updates on its scope of work.
Definition of terms
1. Biohazard: this refers to any biological substances containing infectious materials that are harmful to humans and animals. This includes bodily fluids, bloodborne pathogens, pharmaceutical wastes (needles, syringes etc.) and mold.
2. Valuable Items: these are objects that possess significant monetary or sentimental value (money, jewelry, family heirlooms etc.)
3. Infestation: this refers to the state of being invaded or attack by a large number of insects, animals or parasites. This occurrence can be dangerous to one’s health and safety due to contamination.
Scope of work
This policy applies to all cleaning appointments booked by one-time and ongoing clients. It covers the management and cleaning crew’s procedures when delivering cleaning service to a client.
Policy Statements
· Cleaning service is client specific and covers only services outlined on the invoice.
· Clients requesting additional services at the time of the appointment must contact management as staff do not have authority to change or add services. We will try our best to accommodate our clients’ request, but this may require a separate appointment.
· We do not provide moving or haul away services. As of such, the cleaning crew will not move appliances, electronics or furniture, neither will they perform any lifting outside the scope of work listed on the invoice.
· Pets that are aggressive towards strangers or are afraid of vacuums and loud noises must be kept in areas away from the cleaning scope. The cleaning crew will not clean or dispose of the animal’s litterbox, urine or waste. Also, we ask that clients with pets have a vacuum for the cleaning crew to use.
· The company’s service does not include cleanup of dead insects, rodents, or wild animals and clients must address pest infestation before having the area cleaned.
· This company does not offer mold removal service.
· The cleaning crew responsibilities do not include cleanup of blood, body fluid, feces or any biohazards (needles, syringes, dressings etc.)
· Clients must store and lock away firearms and other dangerous objects to prevent accidents and injuries. Other valuable items must be secured before the crew’s arrival.
· Client may either disarm or disable their alarm system or leave instructions on how to manage these devices if they will not be present.
· If the cleaning crew is unable to enter the premises within 30 minutes from arriving at the client’s address, the client will be charged 50% of the service cost to compensate for the time and effort wasted. Clients may leave their keys and access codes beforehand to avoid problems.
** If a cleaning crew member gets injured on your property, due to a lock of maintenance; all medical expenses will be the responsibility of the property owner/manager**
Payments and Cancellations
Payments:
· Full payment is due before the day of service by cash, check or debit/credit card.
· A 50% deposit is necessary to secure an appointment t. The client will receive an invoice via email and appointment reminder at least 24 hours prior to the appointment
Cancellation:
We value your business and ask that you respect our business scheduling policies.
· Please provide at least 72 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a clean. This must be done by phone call or email.
· All cancellations within this timeframe will attract a fee of $50 unless the appointment is rescheduled.
· Cancellations communicated less than 72 hours before the appointment will be subject to cancellation fee amounting to 50% of the cost of the scheduled services.
· There will be NO refund on same day cancellations.
· Only appointments cancelled at least 72 hours before service date will be rescheduled.
Disclosure :
.There is NO refund on services rendered. Any concerns after 48 hours will not be addressed.
.We reserve the right to take before and after videos and photos.
. After the client completes a walk through with staff, and both parties agree that the job is satisfactorily done and cleaning checklist signed by both parties, any complaints brought forward is null and void.

By submitting payment, you are indicating that you have read, understood, and agreed with the Terms and Conditions presented above.
